Increase in RTO checkposts' income
By ENN, Gandhinagar, Mar 6 : Seven transport checkposts of Gujarat have registered a steady growth in their incomes during last three financial years.
In a written reply, Minister of state for Home Amit Shah told state assembly yesterday that a total income of Rs 38.03 crore was registered in the seven checkposts of the state. With the income of Rs 17,419.63 lakh, Shamalaji checkpost has become the highest earning checkpost in the state.
Other checkposts include Bhilad-Kaparada (Rs 7678.23 lakh), Vaghai (Rs 1132.69 lakh), Chhotaudepur (Rs 271.01 lakh) and three checkpost of Banaskantha (Rs 11800.25 lakh).
