ONGC to set up Oil Museum

By ENN, Gandhinagar, : Public sector Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has undertaken a project to set up an Oil Museum at the Science City complex near here on Gandhinagar- Ahmedabad highway to mark its golden jubilee.

This was conveyed by ONGC Executive Director Anil Johri during his meeting with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here yesterday.

He gave details of the project to be commissioned on 1,000 sq metre land.

Mr Johri also presented to the chief minister a replica of the sucker rod pump (SRP) based on the latest technology for oil production. There are about 2,000 such modern pumps in use at various sites, official sources said.
