SC refuses bail to Dinesh MN

By ENN, New Delhi: The Supreme Court today refused to grant bail to IPS officer and former Udaipur SP Dinesh M N, who is facing allegations of involvement in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case.

The apex court has already transferred the investigation of the case to the CBI and two separate cases have been registered with the CBI.

Seven senior police officers including the then DIG Anti-Terrorist Squad Gujarat D G Vanzara and former DSP Amin are in jail for allegedly killing Sohrabuddin in fake encounter in November 2005.

Sohrabuddin's wife Kauser Bi was also killed later.

The apex court dismissing the bail aplication of Dinesh M N said, ''Since the investigation has been tranferred to the CBI, we are not inclined to grant bail to the accused.''
